Littledown Farm Cottages are two stunning cottages with probably the best view in Bath. They are newly constructed from the farm's old cow sheds and each Cottage has an enormous terrace and private garden to soak up the view from. They make the perfect base from which to explore all that Bath has to offer while getting the peace and tranquility of the surrounding countryside. Access to the city is easy by bus (Bus stop 300m from Cottage) or car in about 6/7 minutes or it is a gentle downhill walk of 25 mins or so.
We have two identical cottages. Each cottage has one bedroom with a kingsize bed and a large open plan kitchen, dining area and living room with a large sofa bed and seating for 4 people. Each cottage has its own terrace and small garden.
We provide cereals, bread, butter, milk, tea and coffee for you to enjoy during your stay.
Your Terrace has a Table and Chairs while the Garden has Sun Loungers, a Bench and Sofa Chairs to relax on. There is a BBQ for your use by arrangement and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
Both cottages have Wifi which is fast and free of charge.
Your cottage will be cleaned once a week but please let us know and we can arrange more frequent cleans (charge applicable).
THINGS TO DO
Come and experience the special atmosphere and rich history of this holy and uplifting place where the first King of all England, Edgar, was crowned in 973.
With the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent and the Abbey you are spoilt for beautiful sites in our World Heritage Site city. World-renowned Stonehenge and Avebury Stone Circles are within an hour's drive while the beautiful Cotswolds come nearly to our Farm.
Whether it's visiting Green Park's antique market, the annual Xmas market or the Artisan market in Queen Square. There is always something going on in Bath.
Nearby there is golf, horse riding, stunning walks and crafting activities galore.
With the Hare and Hounds at the end of our driveway, you needn't travel far. In the centre, we recommend Pintxo, Giggling Squid, The Ivy and Amarone.
For bars, we recommend Sub 13, The Hideout, Walcot House and Circo. For pubs, you are spoilt for choice with the Marlborough Tavern, Chequers and our neighbour, The Hare and Hounds.
A beautiful cottage with everything you could want or need. The views are the best in Bath and the accommodation is stunning. We stayed during a cold, snowy weekend but it was very warm and comfortable throughout.
